Michelle Crum grew up in Dover, Ohio. After graduating high school she attended Capital University in Columbus, Ohio to earn a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and spent five years on active duty in the United States Army Nurse Corps. After getting married and transitioning to civilian life, she began working for Ozarks Technical Community College in Springfield, MO as an Instructor in the Practical Nursing Program. During her time as an Instructor, Michelle chose to pursue an Executive Juris Doctor from Concord Law School. Her final paper for her Legal Writing class was looming... and while she is not the type of person who normally procrastinates, this time, she couldn't get herself motivated. She was toying with the idea for a story and it was much more interesting than the paper she was due to write. After writing more than fifty pages of what is now Book 1 (The Sword) she had to put it aside so she could finish her degree. As soon as the degree was dried in ink, she took up where she left off and a little more than ten years later, the entire Sword of Jonicus Series was complete!
